We can use volunteers of varying time commitment level and skill. Below are descriptions of specific needs we have, but if your interests or abilities lie elsewhere, email volunteer@lobv.org to begin discussing your involvement.
The League of Bicycling Voters has a number of volunteer opportunities to fit any schedule.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
- We can use several volunteers for the Bike Month Closing Celebration, Sunday, June 5th. Volunteers are needed from 1:30-6:00pm, or portions thereof.

Ongoing Needs and Internships
These volunteer opportunities require an ongoing commitment, usually a minimum of a few months.
- * Webmaster (2-5 hours/week)Update website menus, forms, and other technical aspects of website, as needed. Preferred skills: WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL
- * Board of Directors (5+ hours/month)Join the League of Bicycling Voters board! Meetings are monthly, usually 6:30-8:30pm on the same night of the week.
- Administrative Assistant (2-3 hours/week)Assist the Executive Director with various tasks. Meet weekly and/or stay in touch the remainder of the week via e-mail.
- Grant Writer (5+ hours/month or as available)Write and/or review grant applications. Seek new grant opportunities.
- Marketing & Design Coordinator (5+ hours/month)Evaluate and maintain marketing of LOBV’s brand and events. Seek out and coordinate with designers to provide creative product for LOBV.
- Event Planning (hours specified per event)Plan for and coordinate logistics for LOBV events. Types of events include: entertainment fundraisers (benefits), political rallies, rides, other. We always have an upcoming event for which we can use help.
- Development Coordinator (5+ hours/month)Seek and obtain large grants and donations. Work with grant writer(s) or serve as a grant writer him/herself.
