The members of the League of Bicycling Voters elected three new board members and re-elected three incumbents to two-year terms on November 3rd. The new board was seated at the LOBV Board Meeting on November 9th.
From LOBV Board President, Lane Wimberley:
Following the conclusion of last week’s board seat election, I am excited to recognize the League’s new board members, Ellison Carter, Bob Farr and Richard Luciano. I am very optimistic, after seating these new board members, that they will bring new energy to the task of governing our organization. Also, congratulations are due to re-elected members Tommy Eden, Vince Lawrence and Mike Librik. As we improve our structure and methods, I have issued a challenge to the board that we work to find, in a year’s time, our organization more effective, and Austin’s cycling community larger.
These newly elected board members join Lane Wimberley, Patricia Schaub, and Gus Garcia, Jr., whose terms expire in Fall 2012.
